Important Information

CrossFit Scotland Members,

 

As you will be aware we have been asking for you to fill in feedback forms over the past month or so. We have collected all the feedback and taken into consideration the following information that will be implemented to the gym on Monday 12th August.

 

Class Timetable:

Please make sure to sign into classes as this is important for health and safety reasons.

 

Monday – Friday

06:15 – 07:15am - CrossFit Class

07:30 – 08:30am - CrossFit Class

08:30 – 09:20am - Open Gym

09:20 – 10:20am – CrossFit Class

10:30 – 11:30am – CrossFit Class

11:30 – 16:00pm – Open Gym (Tuesday & Fridays Only)

16:00 – 17:00pm – CrossFit Class

17:00 – 18:00pm – CrossFit Class

18:00 – 19:00pm – CrossFit Class (Friday 18:00 – 19:00pm CrossFit Class / Open Gym)

19:00 – 20:00pm – CrossFit Class / Open Gym (Friday – Closed at 19:00pm)

 

Saturday

09:00 – 10:00am – CrossFit Class

10:00 – 11:00am – CrossFit Class

11:00 – 12:00am – CrossFit Class / Open Gym 

 

Sunday

09:00 – 10:00am – CrossFit Class

10:00 – 12:00am – Open Gym 

 

What is Open Gym?

Open gym is an opportunity for you to complete a workout you missed during the week or previous weeks, build on strength, practice new skills, improve your cardiovascular output or you can also do the workout of the day where our trainers will be available to coach you through it all.

 


Memberships:

 

What is Unlimited Membership?

Unlimited membership entitles you to the following:

 

Access to the gym as many times as you like during the week and the day.

 

The WOD must be completed first before you do any extras unless you’re at “Open Gym”, but you can stay into the next class after completing the WOD (Make sure to make the trainers aware of this).

 

If you can’t stay after the class but wish to come back in at night you can do so at anytime as long as the WOD of the day has been completed and you message the trainer in advance.

 

If you don’t wish to do the WOD you have to attend an open gym.

 

What is 3 Visits Per Week Membership?

3 Visits Per Week entitles you to the following:

 

Asses to the gym 3 times during the week, once per day.

 

 

Other Information:

 

We have looked at all other feedback including the following:

 

More community events / skill / fundamental workshops, more skills / strength / open gym session throughout the week, longer workouts, using more classic CrossFit movements, more core / mobility, personalised training / diet plans, tracking app, emailing / text messages when membership is due, coffee, ice baths and key card assess.

 

We are looking to have more community events, fundamental workshops and charity events on once a month. These will be spaced out during the year.

 

Our new programming has a mixture of short, moderate and long workout lengths alongside classic CrossFit movements, skill sessions, strength, core and mobility implemented into the session.

 

At this moment in time, Megan is currently working on personalised programme and nutritional plans that will be implemented in the future but not at this current time.

 

Tracking workouts and nutrition: The best way to do this is by tracking in a training diary. As for nutrition “My fitness Pal” is one of the best on the market to track your nutrition.

 

We will be looking to send out gentle reminders of membership payments by email of text message a week to 10 days before your next membership payment.

 

Coffee is on its way! We have been planning on converting our office space into a member’s space where you can socialise after the WOD. This is in the works and we hope to have work starting soon.

 

Ice baths and key card access is not something we want to implement into our gym. It may be something we relook at in the future.
