WHAT IS Crossfit?

"High intensity functional fitness carried out across broad time and modal domains"

In other words 365 days a year we carry out 365 different workouts. Every day is different, every day is challenging and every day is designed to improve your fitness. Our workouts are a blend of three different disciplines:
METCON, WEIGHT LIFTING & GYMNASTICS.

One day might be all three disciplines, a blend of two or solely one. The continually varied nature means you never get bored. Click on the links below for more detail on each discipline.

CrossFIT SCOTLAND @ BASIXGYM

COVID - 19 UPDATE

CrossFit Scotland @ BasixGym has over gone a complete refurbishment to take into account the safety of our members and staff during the lockdown period.

The layout of the gym has been reimaginged. We now provide twelve "workstatios" that are all  seperated by a two metre safe zone  to provide the correct amount of social distancing.

We have also taken care to ensure that the quality and nature of your workout is not compromised. In making these changes is it is our opinion we have actually greatly improved on what was the best workout around.

We were fortunate that we had 5300 sq ft to work with coupled to our 12 and a half years experience.

Safety is of paramount importance  in the gym. 

We commisioned our "Returning to BasixGym" video to guide you through the process of a safe return to the gym. Please watch and then rewatch.

CrossFit Scotland @ BasixGym was voted by The Scotsman as one of the Best Gyms in Scotland.
